Klarex: "I Will Resign If There Are Ghost Projects During MyTwo Terms"

Cagayan de Oro City_"MOKANAUG KO SA PWESTO KUNG MAPAMATUD-AN NGA ADUNA’Y GHOST PROJECTS UBOS SA AKONG TERMINO,” thus declared Mayor Rolando "Klarex" U during the flagraising ceremony and People's Day programs at Barangay Balubal this city Monday morning.

Mayor Uy also said that there is no need to look for ghost projects since he is wholeheartedly and selflessly serving Kagay-anons, especially in district 2 since he hails from the 1st district.

"Ako lang matinud-anon ko kaninyo ug labaw sa tanan giampingan nako ang gisalig ninyo nga pagdumala sa kagamhanan sa dakbayan kay dili ko gusto nga maulawan kamo, mga Kagay-anon. Mao na ang tinuoray nga pagserbisyo sa katawhan. Kung aduna’y ghost project nako, wala nako sa atubangan ninyo. Kaluy-an ko sa Ginoo kay wala na sa akong huna-huna, wala na sa akong plano nga mag-ghost project ko kay kontento nako sa akong nahimutangan. Kontento nako sa grasya nga gihatag sa Ginoo nga nabuhi ko sa matinud-anon nga pagpangita sa panginabuhian,”added Mayor Klarex. He further disclosed that he, of all people, will know if there are really ghost projects and if he finds any, he will immediately resign as local chief executive.

Mayor Klarex is now on his second term and he intends to fulfill his promise of bringing the government closer to the people and likewise to bring the people closer to the government, thereby saving residents time, transportation expenses and efforts.

In the People's Day program at Barangay Balubal, Mayor Klarex, now on his second term, personally served 822 villagers and brought with him personnel and services from different departments of city hall. Mayor Klarex was accompanied by City Councilors Paolo Gaane, Enrico Salcedo, Yan Lam Lim and Edgar Cabanlas, all of the city's 2nd district.
