Mayor Klarex Meets German Waste To Energy Technocrats

November 7,2025,Cagayan de Oro City_ Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy recently met with officials of Smartgreentec PH, a direct subsidiary of

Smartgreentec AG of Germany, an international pioneer in converting solid waste into clean, renewable energy.

The Smartgreentec PH team, led by Vice President Martin Metzger, Finance Director Claus Schoenfelder and Sales Director Donjie Dormitorio, also met with officials of the Oro-Trade and Investment Promotions Center, (ORO-TIPC) and the City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office, (CLENRO) and discussed a possible collaboration concerning waste management and eventual renewable energy capacities.
