Kagay-anons Converge And Air Concerns

Cagayan de Oro City_A multitude of Kagay-anons and citizens coming from Northern Mindanao Sunday afternoon converged at the Gaston Park in this city and aired their grievances against alleged discrepancies of the current administration.

Braving an intermittent rain, the group, mostly clad in black, held up black placards on which were written their sentiments. Some speakers took turns in lambasting what they called as alleged blatant anomalies and discrepancies in governance.

Calling the activity as "Panatigum sa Nagpakabana sa Northern Mindanao", the group sent a strong but peaceful message to the Marcos administration and urged the government to prioritize governance and public service over what it called as political conflicts.

Although originally conceived as an apolitical movement, the group highlighted their support for Vice President Sara Duterte and lamented what the group labelled as purely political harassment against Ms. Duterte.
