Barangay Balulang, Shines As One of Top Ten Nationwide Outstanding Barangay Initiatives 2025 Winners In Galing Pook Awards

December 3, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_Barangay Balulang was recently awarded as one of the top ten nationwide Outstanding Barangay Initiatives 2025, for the village's true innovation, participation and inclusive local governance.

Receiving the award was Punong Barangay Edwin Micabani, who, under his leadership, spearheaded "Balulang Buskwela: Driving Child Development Through Provision, Protection and Participation", thereby manifesting selfless public service and devotion towards schoolchildren and the community.
