COWD Bares 5-yr Development Plan

Cagayan de Oro City_The Cagayan de Oro Water District Friday disclosed its 5-year development plan in a press briefing cum Christmas fellowship at a local resort.
Interim General Manager Fermin V. Jarales announced that he had a series of meetings with legislative leaders and procured additional capital for the embroiled water utility.
IGM Jarales said that he was able to secure congressional approval for a more than 400 million pesos commitment for the continuing rehabilitation and upgrading of the COWD, spread throughout the next five years.
Jarales, noting that his appointment from the Local Water Utilities Administration was extended for the next three months along with his interim board of directors, expressed optimism that COWD's financial and efficiency woes would soon be over.
