83 Camiguin TUPAD bens urged to use cash aid wisely

(Our request is that if you get the money after 10 days, take care of your salary and don't spend it on anything that is not needed; we must avoid drugs and illegal gambling) Gracing the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program orientation for 83 beneficiaries in the province, July 26, Mambajao Mayor Yñigo Jesus Romualdo emphasized the goals of implementing the program in Camiguin, specifically helping those whose livelihoods are severely affected by the pandemic. The beneficiaries include 10 individuals from Catarman, Mahinog (8), Sagay (10), and Mambajao (55). They will render community service for 10 days and will be paid P390 per day, or P3,900 after their employment with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-Camiguin. "Kita, ang munisipyo, ang lima ka munisipyo, ang Probinsya sa Camiguin, gapaningkamot nga mabalik og kanindot atong ekonomiya, mu-improve ang kinabuhi sa tanang mga tawo nga gapuyo sa Camiguin," Romualdo said.
