4ID receives 2 new facilities
The House of Representatives through the Office of Cagayan de Oro City 1st District Congressman Atty. Lordan Suan and the Department of Public Works and Highways 1st District Engineering Office formally turned-over two new facilities to the 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division in a ceremony held at the Service Support Battalion (SSBn) Headquarters, Camp Evangelista, Brgy. Patag, Cagayan de Oro City on January 18, 2024.
The new facilities were the Car Painting Booth and the Ammunition Warehouse which amounted to more or less P5-Million pesos each.
Major General Jose Maria R. Cuerpo II, Commander of the 4ID graced the ceremony along with other 4ID key officers, DPWH-10 officers and staff, and Brgy. Patag officials.
He stated that the said inauguration and blessing of new facilities marks a significant step towards enhancing the Diamond troopers' service to the people. Maj. Gen. Cuerpo II further expressed his utmost gratitude to Congressman Suan and the DPWH-10 for pushing the said projects which will greatly help in the attainment of the 4ID's mission of ending local communist armed conflict in the two regions and maintain lasting peace and inclusive development.
