SM CITY CDO UPTOWN DAZZLES WITH "ONCE UPON A CHRISTMAS", THE MAGICAL LAUNCHING AND TREE LIGHTING GRAND EVENT, OCT. 26

0ctober 26, 2025,Uptown, Cagayan de Oro City _ Magic met the Modern Fairy Tale at SM City CdO Uptown as Kagay-anons, guests and SM top brass joined the grand launching and Christmas tree lighting activity Sunday night.

Dressed as fairy tale characters, dancers mesmerized wide-eyed spectators with their enchantingly choreographed routines leading to the giant Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The excited crowd was dazzled and awed when the gigantic Christmas tree, that was colorfully and ecstatically decorated, was finally lit up.

To the delight of kids tagging along with their parents and guardians, Santa Claus popped up and was met with a resounding Holiday cheer.

The Grand Launching of "Once Upon A Christmas" and Christmas tree lighting at SM City CDO UPTOWN rotunda was jampacked with people of all ages, even lining up the railings of the 2nd and 3rd levels of the mall.

Supportively present were City Councilors Antuy Roa Pascual, George Christopher Goking, Gigi Go, Jing Daba and wife, former Kagawad Suzette Magtajas Daba with their two beautiful daughters in tow.
