PIA CAGAYAN DE ORO: In line with the 2023 celebration of National Women's Month, Region 10 Gender Advocates Pres. Maj. Daisy P. Baguio tackled women's empowerment and gender equality in the workforce, including the issues brought about by the gender gap, gender violence, and harassment. During the Ang Rehiyon Karon radio program, February 27, she urged Cagayan de Oro LGUs to join various programs and services that aim to fight against gender discrimination and provide equal opportunities for men, women, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
