ENGR. Leonila E. Tenestrante, acting regional manager, together with the NIA - Region 10 Employees and Irrigators Association (IA), are planting indigenous tree species to show love to our Mother Earth! Relative to this year's founding anniversary of NIA and the EO No. 23, s. 2011, the nationwide tree planting activity under the National Greening Program (NGP) with the theme "Trees. Water. Life. 2022" is currently conducted at the watershed of Talakag Irrigation System (adjacent to the tree planting site last year 2021 near the damsite) in Talakag, Bukidnon. This activity aims to establish continuity of our rehabilitation and reforestation efforts as an agency as well as to preserve the watershed of NIAs Irrigation Systems.
