Great tasting goat and native chicken dishes at RKDV Kambingan

THE oldest kambingan in Cagayan de Oro City has now renamed itself as RKDV Kambingan and is poised to serve you with even better dishes as the second generation of the Villanueva family has merged their traditional kambing dishes with new twists.

On the new menu of RKDV Kambingan are the following: goat dishes (caldereta kambing, adobo kambing, prito kambing, papaitan kambing, halang2x kambing, sinigang kambing, spicy caldereta, kare-kare kambing, rendang kambing, kilawin kambing, panit halang2x kambing, sisig laman loob, ulo sinigang set); native chicken (tinola manok, ginataan manok, deep-fried chicken); and seafood (calamares, kinilaw).

They also serve one set whole kambing good for 12 to 18 persons or in half calderen (six to ten persons) and full calderen (ten to 12 persons).

One other specialty is ulo sinigang na kambing which is good for four to five persons. It already includes the goat’s head, brain, legs and tail.

RKDV Kambingan started out 14 years ago as Kambingan sa Buena Oro by the first generation of the Villanueva family. Its authentic kambing taste has multiplied its customers through the years. Then the pandemic hit but in less than two years, the business reemerged now as RKDV Kambingan.

Today, RKDV Kambingan is open from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. They’re available through Food Panda, too. They do accept bulk orders for parties and other events. For details, please call 09264352736 or 09088879001.
