Food Panda, represented by its Director for Operations Ms. Patricia Jacinto, emphasized that delivery riders are insured up to more than a hundred thirty five thousand pesos each and that there's no basis for claims alleging decreased earnings of the riders.

"In fact, since we started in 2014, and during this pandemic, from 2020 until now, we experienced a very high volume of orders and there is no truth to allegations of discrepancies in the matter of tips for our rider/partners", said Ms. Jacinto. She added that these go directly to the riders.

According to Jacinto, clients have been very concerned and very appreciative of the riders and acknowledge the sacrifices and risks being taken by and have been very generous with extra income for the riders in the form of tips.

Jacinto further said that labor concerns of their delivery partners especially on suspensions and terminations have been positively and properly addressed and resolved.
