PBBM signs into law Suan bill for teachers' additional pay

Cagayan de Oro City, June 4, 2024_Much to his surprise, Congressman Lordan Suan of CDO's 1st District expressed his gratitude Pres. Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., for signing into law Suan's bill granting annual monetary benefits for the country's teachers.
In an ambush interview, Rep. Suan said his "Kabalikat sa Pagtuturo" bill was made into a Republic Act institutionalizing the grant of reaching allowance for public school teachers.
Suan added that public school teachers under the basic education curriculum will receive five thousand cash allowances each for 2024-2025 and ten thoisand pesos each for succeeding years
The working congressman is elated that being a first-time legislator, he did not expect that in less than five months, his bill would be prioritized by the President.
Congressman Suan noted that for so long a time, public school teachers shelled out their own hard-earned money to buy teaching aids for their pupils. Suan disclosed that the Chief Executive is giving education his utmost commitment as part of Bagong Pilipinas.
