The Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD) and Oro Rescue 911 from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD) immediately responded to the request from the manager of the Westbound Terminal and Public Market in Barangay Bulua. This came after COWD and Oro Rescue 911 sent water tankers to provide an adequate water supply for the comfort rooms at the market, following a request from Mr. Allan Fernandez, Manager of the Westbound Terminal and Public Market.

Mr. Fernandez explained that their office had been looking for ways to fully resolve the issue, while COWD personnel were investigating the cause of the water shortage affecting the comfort rooms at the market.

It was noted that several stallholders at the Bulua public market had complained about the lack of water, which led to unpleasant odors in the area.
