South Balibago Waterworks Supplies 4.32 Million Liters Water Daily To 4,500 Households In Barangay Iponan

Oct 9, 2025,Cagayan de Oro City_Residents in Sitio Bolao in Barangay Iponan this city, especially subdivision dwellers, can now enjoy stable water supply after officials of the Cagayan de Oro Water District, COWD, led the commissioning of bulk water that COWD bought from South Balibago Resources, Inc, said Mr. Tammy Tamayo of South Balibago Resources, Inc (SBRI), in an exclusive interview with the Mindanao Reporter.

In simple ceremonies Thursday led by City Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy, COWD General Manager Edna Najeal, COWD's Board of Directors, Barangay Iponan officials and representatives of South Balibago Resources, Inc., the local chief executive thanked South Balibago Resources Inc. for the commissioning, saying "Dako nakong kalipay ug pasalamat sa Ginoo nga niabot na gyud ang sakto nga panahon nga ang kasolbaran sa hinay-hinay sa kakulangon sa tubig sa atong dapit sa dakbayan napangitaan ug paagi. Kini dako kaayo kini nga tabang kay para ra gyud dinhi sa Barangay Iponan. Usa ang Barangay Iponan nga maoy pinakadaghang lumulopyo ug daghan mga subdivisions.”
