PRO-10,4ID, Placed On Full Alert For Dec. 26 CPP Anniversary

December 12, 2025,Cagayan de Oro City -The Police Regional Office 10 and the 4th Infantry "Diamond" Division of the Philippine Army have been placed on full alert status as the Communist Party of the Philippines is set to commemorate its anniversary on December 26 this year.

PBGen. Christopher Abrahano, Director of PRO-10, said that the membership of the CPP- NPA has been significantly reduced after implementation of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict or NTF-ELCAC.

However, Maj. Gen. Michele Anayron, Jr., Commanding General of the Philippine Army's 4th Infantry Division, said that even with this development, he has ordered intensified operations against the terrorist group.

Col. Patrick Martinez, 4ID spokesman, disclosed that even with this reduced security threat, authorities are not taking any chances this Holiday season.
