PNP Villanueva Scores Big In Anti-drug Operation

July 30, 2025, San Martin, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental - A High-Value Individual (HVI) was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Villanueva Municipal Police Station (MPS), under the leadership of PMAJ Princess Obrique Bergado, early morning of July 30, 2025.
The operation, conducted at around 2:22 AM at Purok 5, Brgy. San Martin, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, targeted suspect alias “Marjun”, 40 years old, single, and a resident of Zone 4, Poblacion, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. The said operation was coordinated under PDEA 10. During the transaction, a poseur buyer was able to purchase one sachet of suspected shabu using a PHP 1,000 bill as marked money. This led to the immediate arrest of the suspect. Recovered from the suspect’s possession were 49 pieces of assorted sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, with a total weight of 206 grams, valued at Php 1,400,800. 00.
