March 29, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_Former Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno Saturday met and heard the issues and concerns of the LGBTQ community in Barangay Lumbia.

In this huddle, Attorney Moreno listened intently as the representatives of the LGBTQ sector aired their sentiments and aspirations.

Moreno, who is running for city mayor in this year's midterm elections, assured the empowerment of the LGBTQ community through technical skills trainings and livelihood opportunities once he is back as the local chief executive. Support systems and LGBTQ representation in the city council would be among Moreno's priorities.
