City Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' A. Uy is working hard to complete the construction of the public market in Barangay Pagatpat this year after the city allocated sufficient funds amounting to P30 million for Phase 2 of the project. This was revealed by Mayor Klarex to the people and officials of Barangay Pagatpat during the ‘Klarex sa Serbisyo sa Baryo’ event held last Saturday, February 1.
City Engineer Joel Momongan confirmed that the P30 million allocation for Phase 2 of the project has already been included in the city's 2025 annual budget.
The mayor's statement came in response to criticisms from his political opponents, who alleged that the administration of Mayor Klarex Uy neglected the project. (CIO)
