Lumads Perform Ritual At Mis. Or. Capitol

June 30, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_Misamis Oriental Governor Juliette Uy Monday attended a ritual performed by a Higaonon and Indigenous People's group coming from different areas of the province to rid the Provincial Capitol of evil spirits, bad luck and to prevent accidents.

The ritual came after former 2nd district Congresswoman and Villanueva town Mayor Uy formally assumed office as the duly elected local chief executive at 12:01 pm of June 30, 2025.
