Karen Lagbas Wins Congressional Seat Of Misamis Oriental’s 1st District

May 13, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_ Lawyer Karen Lagbas won by a wide margin over incumbent Representative Christian Unabia in Monday's midterm elections for the 1st District of Misamis Oriental.

Attorney Karen Lagbas is proclaimed as Congresswoman-elect for Mis.Or.'s 1st District.

Congresswoman-elect Karen Lagbas is giving priority to healthcare and pro-poor legislation as she related that these were also the advocacies of her late father, former Vice Governor and Representative Danilo P. Lagbas.

Ms.Lagbas will also consult with local government units, especially barangays, for inclusive legislation.
