June 27, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_Governor elect Juliette Uy is set to streamline the bureaucracy in the Provincial Capitol when she assumes office 12:01 pm of June 30, Monday.
Team Unity spokesman Popoy Abucejo made this announcement after turnover rites Friday.

"Plantilla or regular position holders need not worry as they are protected by the Civil Service Commission but political appointees are considered co-termimus with their appointing authorities", said Abucejo in an ambush interview.
"As to the Capitol funds, we still have to scrutinize what has been spent and what is left for the remaining months of 2025", he added. He disclosed that some 80 to100 million pesos in caah advances still have to be liquidated.
Abucejo was quick to emphasize continuity of ongoing projects of the outgoing administration saying "Ang madaut kung dili ipadayon ang mga ongoing projects kay ang incoming Governor man, (the incoming Governor will put to task or bashed if ongoing projects of the outgoing administration are not continued nor completed).
H e said that committed projects, especially on the agricultural and tourism sectors, will undergo evaluation.
