Former Gingoog Mayor Marie Guingona Passes Away June 16

June 16, 2025, Gingoog City_Former local Chief Executive Marie Guingona died Monday morning.

According to a Facebook post by Jejie Puerto Galua, former Misamis Oriental Governor Ruth Guingona, Marie's mother, called Galua at 9:19 am, with the sad news. Interment and burial details will be announced soon. The Guingona family requests for prayers for the eternal repose of the soul of former mayor Marie.
