Cong. Suan Turns Over P30M Infra To Kauswagan

July 23, 2025, Cagayan de Oro City_ Two infrastructural projects of 1st district Congressman Lordan Suan were turned over to Barangay Kauswagan Wednesday afternoon amidst a merry and festive welcome by students and faculty of Kauswagan National High School.



A covered court, located inside the school grounds and worth P14. 5M, was gladly received by Kagawad Pedro Balite and other village officials and school administrators. Measuring 30 meters by 21 meters, the multipurpose building is complemented with cladding, a drainage system and basketball rings.

During the turnover ceremonies, a video clip was presented featuring another completed 2-storey multipurpose building, (an interment facility) which was appropriated with P14. 9M by Congressman Suan. Digitally turned over to Barangay Kauswagan, the structure is equipped with two main rooms, an open pantry, a rest room, a utility area, a balcony and a porch.

Also present during Wednesday's turnover and expressed their gratitude were Mr. Anthony Ramos, Kauswagan High School Principal, DPWH District Engineer Ana Lee Manzano, Mr. Roy Angelo Gazo, City Schools Division Superintendent and Barangay officials Kirby Canoy and Carlitos Pacana.

A ceremonial unveiling of a commemorative plaque was led by Congressman Suan.

The two multipurpose buildings are priority projects of Congressman Lordan Suan who also pledged bleachers and sports equipment for the covered court.
