99% Distribution of Vitamin A Reached by the City Nutrition Council in 2024

The city achieved 99% distribution of Vitamin A to children in the city in 2024. According to City Nutrition Action Officer Caroline Cabunoc, this was one of the city's accomplishments during the program implementation review held from January 22 to 23 at the VIP Hotel in the city. Cabunoc added that this success was not only due to the City Nutrition Committee but also the efforts of each barangay.

Vitamin A is one of the criteria considered by the National Nutrition Council for the Nutrition Honor Award, which is the highest recognition in the field of nutrition. This achievement contributed to the city’s award.
