CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City - Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) apprehended two drugs suspects in a buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of suspected shabu worth approximately PhP2,040,000.00 in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental on May 26, 2025.

Operatives from Tagoloan Municipal Police Station, Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office, conducted a successful anti-illegal drugs operation at Zone 6, Sugbongcogon, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. Arrested during the operation were alias “Bam-bam”, 43 years old, single, identified as a high-value individual on the drug watchlist; and alias “Rose”, 27 years old, female. Both are residents of the aforementioned place.

Records show that “Bam-bam” was convicted in 2015 for violating R.A. No. 9165 and served a six-year sentence. In 2020, he was again arrested for the same offense. This recent drug arrest marks his third apprehension. His current companion, “Rose,” is reported to be his live-in partner.
Confiscated from the suspects were 10 rectangular heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, weighing more or less 300 grams, with a Standard Drug Price of PhP2,040,000.00, a digital weighing scale; asling bag; a coin purse, and a PhP500.00 bill used as buy-bust money.
The suspects are now under the custody of Tagoloan MPS for proper disposition. Cases for violation of Sec. 5 and 11, Article II of R.A. No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against them.
PBGEN JAYSEN C DE GUZMAN, Regional Director, PRO10, commended the operating units for the successful conduct of the operation.

“We will continue to intensify our efforts and maintain strong collaboration with partner agencies to put an end to this menace that destroys lives and communities. Let this arrest serve as a stern warning to all those involved in the illegal drug trade—we will not stop until every perpetrator is brought to justice,” he said.
