6 To 7: Mayor Klarex Leads Distribution Of 6K Each To 7H PWDs

November 26,2025, Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City _ Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy Wednesday led the distribution of six thousand pesos each to Persons With Disabilities, (PWDs), at the village hall of Barangay Carmen. The cash assistance was an annual payout to physically challenged residents of the city's 1st district and the activity continued till late afternoon.

" Any PWD, as long as they are qualified, regardless of political affiliation, are entitled to this cash assistance. Those who cannot personally claim their shares, especially those residing in the hinterland barangays, can claim their cash aid at their respective barangays", said Mayor Klarex who was ably assisted by Carmen Punong Barangay Rainier Joaquin "Kapkik" Uy and other village officials.

Other other hand, when pressed by a reporter from Magnum Radio, Mayor Klarex reiterated his offer to step down from office once it's proven that his administration is involved in ghost projects. He added that he has nothing to hide and has always observed transparency in his governance, effectively dispelling fake social media posts that he has chosen not to give importance to, especially regarding the status of the Mega Health Center in Sitio Macanhan in Barangay Carmen.

" This is a product of dirty politics", added Mayor Klarex.
