The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) wishes to clarify reports circulating online regarding the collapsed section of the Iligan City-Talakag, Bukidnon Road.

Please be informed that this concern has already been fully addressed a long time ago through Project ID: 23KM0061 - Restoration of Collapsed Road Sections along Iligan City - Bukidnon Diversion Road, Iligan City, Lanao del Norte. The project began on October 20, 2023 and was completed on February 3, 2024, with a permanent slope protection structure, drainage system, box culvert, and guardrail barriers constructed to stabilize the area and ensure the safety of motorists.

At present, the affected section is safe, stable, and fully passable. Attached photos show the completed works.
