SM City Cagayan de Oro launches its Sunday Market along with other SM Malls nationwide.
Adhering with SM Foundation’s Advocacy, SM is leading in supporting local farmers. With SM's Sunday Market, farmers are given free spaces within their SM Supermalls to showcase the farmers' crops— fresh from the farm to the market. This initiative not only benefits our local farmers but also consumers, mall shoppers, as prices are much cheaper!
SM CDO is now supporting local products of the Canitoan Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative (CAFAMCO), a local agricultural association that grows agricultural commodities such as fruits and vegetables. Available are kalabasa, sitaw, ampalaya, talong, okra, sayote, pipino, carrots, potatoes, leafy vegetables, and other basic commodity crops. They also sell onions at only150 pesos per kilo. Also featured are fruits like watermelon, mango, pineapple, rambutan, lanzones and a lot more. SM CDO is also inviting other local producers and farmers to participate in the Sunday Market, thus providing them with an opportunity to showcase their products.
SM CDO Uptown encourages everyone to come and visit the Sunday Market every Sunday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
