PCOL CHOLIJUN P CADUYAC, Acting Provincial Director of MORPPO reported to Acting Regional Director PBGEN RICARDO G LAYUG JR that personnel of Magsaysay Municipal Police Station led by PMAJ MICHAEL RAIDO B MERCADO, Officer-in-Charge conducted joint manhunt operation against Other Wanted Person on November 9, 2023, 6:35 AM at Sito Minsalag, Purok-4, Barangay Bonifacio Aquiño, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental that resulted to the successful arrest of FREDDIE PALAPAR ELANGO, 27 years old, with live-in partner, laborer and a resident of the aforementioned place. ELANGO was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of RA 7610 docketed under Criminal Case No. 2022-8649 with bail bond recommended fixed in the amount of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos Only (Php120,000.00) dated May 25, 2022.
Arrested person was under the custody of Magsaysay Municipal Police Station for booking and documentation and will be turned-over to the issuing court for proper disposition. The subject person remains innocent until proven guilty by the court.
