Mai Mong Khan, the only Mongolian diner in CDO

A fusion of Chinese and Russian cuisine, Mongolian is seldom offered in the Philippines. But for gourmands who want to explore their palate more, there's this one spot in King's Food & Music Expo that offers Mongolian dishes. Yup you read that right! Here in Mai Mong Khan, food is cooked right in front of you whether it's stir-fried rice or noodles. The noodles are placed over the meat and vegetables simmering together in a pot.

The pot is covered tightly with a lid to allow the noodles to be steamed with the shallow layer of water boiling in the pot. After about ten to 15 minutes, the noodles are cooked and the pot is tossed with the lid still on to thoroughly mix the ingredients. Mai Mong Khan at King's Food & Music Expo is open daily from 10 a.m. onwards. It is located along Beacon St. at Pueblo de Oro in uptown CDO.
